Over de functie

The Customer Service Team is imperative for the successful delivery of products and services, as well as regular support, both during pre-buying as well as after the order has been placed. Customer Service comprises two roles defined below.


Customer Service Team Member The processes managed by the Customer Service Team Members include the following:

• Provide first line product support by providing help to customers using products and services;

• Quoting standards and customized products;

• Order entry of standards and customized products, including order acknowledgements;

• Quoting and order entry of advanced customization projects, 'Assembly Service' and 'Customer Specific Accessories' should be done together with the Enclosure Application Specialist, EAS;

• Manage delays by sending customers revised order confirmations; • Complaint handling;

• Follow up on overdue invoices;

• Process administrative tasks. In the communication with a customer, it is important to bear the following in mind:

• Communicate courteously with the customer by phone, e-mail and letter;

• Learn about products and services and keep up to date on new product developments and changes;

• Adhere to Customer Service procedures;

• Be aware of warranties and sales conditions.


Team Leaders (additional tasks)

Team Leaders in Customer Service will also handle the tasks listed above, plus: 

• Supervision of a team of Customer Service Staff;

• Meeting with ERP key users to discuss possible improvements in the customer service area;

• Be involved in staff recruitments and appraisals;

• Train staff to deliver a high standard of customer service;

• Make sure processes are handled in the right way.
