As an Accounts Payable Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting and bookkeeping tasks for several entities. With your experience and knowledge of processes and accounting systems, you are a great asset to our team. Your responsibilities as an Accounts Payable Accountant initially include: Process purchase invoices (PO and non PO) in an accurate and timely manner;  Liaise with internal departments (e.g., Construction Management, Operations, IT) or suppliers  to resolve discrepancies; Process daily bank statements and perform monthly reviews of the accounts payable aging report; Maintain the accuracy of vendor master data; Assist in maintaining organized financial records, including sales invoices and accounts receivable documentation; Actively participate in process improvement projects and system implementations; Support the accounting team with month-end closing activities, VAT return preparation, and documentation for the annual audit; Perform other ad-hoc financial tasks as assigned. 

Profil

Job requirements You are someone who takes the initiative and takes responsibility for the tasks assigned to you. A keen eye for detail and critical thinking will help you keep our financial records up to date and accurate. You should also meet the following criteria: A minimum of 1 year experience in accounts payable; Successfully completed training in accounting or a related field; Fluency in both English and Dutch; Experience in ERP systems (experience with NetSuite is a strong plus); High adaptability to new environments and procedural changes; A proactive and collaborative team member with strong problem-solving skills; Excellent multitasking and stakeholder management abilities.
