Contineous Improvement Manager

Unique is looking for a Contineos Improvement Manager to work in the Wevelgem region.

what will you have to do?

• Leading a Safety first approach maintaining a zero accident culture. Ensures and monitors work, accident prevention and environmental protection regulations of the facility to assure a safe and productive work environment free of any liabilities or defects.
• Develop and manage within the CI budget. Manage total facility CI initiatives and progress to completion. Responsible to quickly adapt to financial gaps through adjusting timing of improvement plans, creating additional improvements and overall supporting meeting the branch financial plan.
• Develops Operational Excellence annual plan with a focus on Lean Tools that drive labour redeployment efficiencies, OEE improvements and shop floor space gains.
• Able to both teach and implement lean tools.
• Maintain a culture of functional and Operational Excellence, supports 5S, lean initiatives and to be a committed role model for our Company’s Beliefs and Behaviours.
• Establish and maintain appropriate internal capabilities and strengthen the organization (Succession Planning) through training, career development opportunities and recruiting as necessary to achieve Manufacturing objectives.
• Adherence to internal and external Business Processes and Certifications synonymous with a large US Incorporation operating within the Automotive Industry
• Fulfill assigned primary, secondary and or tertiary deputy/back-up roles as assigned and required on occasion by the business.
